The East Texas Stress Reduction Clinic provides a multi-diminsionary approach to stress reduction. The MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programs and the 2 Day Stress Resiliency Training Program have their roots in the 30 year history of the Center for Mindfulness and mindfulness training originating from Jon Kabat-Zinn. The Clinic embraces training deep in positive psychology where instead of studying what is wrong with people, we study, embrace, and train in what is right and whole with people. The clinic works hand in hand with local community and businesses to create programs that provide clinically proven techniques to change the way people are holding their life. A program may be customized to just about any time and demographic. Training for stress reduction is much like exercise in that walking around the block gives you one benefit and training for a marathon gives another.
